My idea for a new MK game would be the title Mortal Kombat Risen.
Story:
After the events of Armageddon, 5 new warriors from different realms are alerted by Raiden's message as a new threat to earth has once again returned. New alliances will be formed as well as tag teams to stop this new threat. This new evil has indeed RISEN.
New characters:
Famine-A ninja who was once The One Being's true warrior until he was attcked by a disease which Drahmin had gave to him. He now lies in the dark corners of Outworld waiting for his next attack.
Allies: The One Being, Shao Khan
Enemies:Drahmin
Weapon:Dead Oni Staff(Like Quan Chi's staff in the sketches of MKDA)
Tremor-Once a thug working for Kano during the dissapearence of Sonya Blade is now called by Raiden to enter the new Mortal Kombat tournament for the first time.
Allies:Jarek, Kano
Enemies:Jax, Sonya Blade, Cyrax
Weapon:Blood Gaunlets(This isnt an ordinary gaunlet, it has small bullets which can fire at opponents)
Emerald-One of Kitana's friends who was murdered by Shang Tsung before the first Mortal Kombat tournament has resurrected by Raiden's powers. She will stop this new threat to earth. She is known as the warrior of water.

Enemies:Mileena, Shao Khan, Shang Tsung
Weapon:Emerald Blade(A powerful weapon made by the God of water before he was killed by Shinnok)
Corpse-An unknown warrior who was seen during the events of Deadly Alliance and in Onaga's reign. His soul had returned to his long lost body after he was stabbed by Shang Tsung. He uses the art of force and studies the ways of the Katana. What will he accomplish?

Weapon:Edged Katana(A dented Katana with sharp edges around the blade. It will make this warrior loose health little by little when weapon is in use)
Acid-Known to be a clone of both Cyrax and Sektor, this green clone was once a being called Tiamat who was once Reptile's sucsessor and follower. He had learned that he had more abilities being a robot mechanic than being an ordinary lizard being. He is called by Raiden to enter the new Mortal Kombat tournament.

This time the classic fighters will have heir original fighting styles and a button combination will have them in Weapon Kombat. They can pick up various items and throw it to their opponents as well.
